Welcome to the website of Suncoast Institute. We are proud to be
the Learning and Research Center of the Suncoast Hospice, created
to manage the research and academic programs for the Hospice, to
provide demonstration models to improve systems of care and
influence public policy, educate professionals and collaborate
through consultations with agencies devoted to providing the most
positive end-of-life experiences through caring, compassionate and
competent hospice care.
The Suncoast Hospice which has grown to become one of the
nation's leading not-for-profit hospice organizations was founded
in Pinellas County in 1977. Our mission is to be a catalyst for
change in the way people and organizations care for each other at
the end of life. Our focus is to provide relevant information and
meaningful resources.
